Before using the Trade Hunter tools or related services, read this disclosure carefully. If you do not understand the risks described, do not trade.
1. Leveraged trading
Trading forex, gold and CFDs is usually done with leverage: a small deposit opens a position worth much more. Leverage magnifies both gains and losses, and even a small price move can cause significant losses in a short time. You can lose all the capital you invest.
Retail clients of providers subject to the EU measures on CFDs benefit from protections such as leverage limits, the closing of positions when margin falls below a threshold, and negative balance protection, which limits the total loss to the funds in the account. Professional clients, providers from other countries or different instruments may not have these protections: in those cases the loss can exceed the capital deposited. Always check your provider's conditions.
2. CFD and partner broker warning
Protections for retail clients, such as leverage limits and negative balance protection, depend on the partner broker and the country where it operates: they may differ from those under EU rules. Always check the broker's conditions and protections before opening an account.
CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. Trading FX instruments and CFDs can result in the loss of all your invested capital. Consider whether you understand how CFDs work and whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money.
3. Automated technical analysis
The scanner automatically detects chart patterns, harmonic patterns, Elliott waves, Wyckoff phases and setups from proprietary strategies. These are price readings based on technical rules: they do not guarantee results, may not play out, may change or be invalidated, and do not take into account your financial situation, goals or risk tolerance.
Entry, stop loss and take profit levels are indicative. In fast or illiquid markets, actual execution may happen at different prices (slippage) and stops do not guarantee closing at the stated price.
4. Other risks
- Past or simulated results: they do not guarantee future ones.
- Technical risks: delays or errors in market data, and outages of the platform, of Telegram or of your connection, can affect the information you receive.
- Costs: spreads, commissions and overnight financing costs reduce results and depend on the provider chosen.
- Tax: tax treatment depends on your personal situation; consult a professional.
